Mihtra

MY INSTANT HEALTH TRACKER

The multi location diagnostic kiosk that performed vital health tests and other assessments with diagnostic results delivered straight to the mobile app in 15 minutes.

The Client

Mihtra Wellness, the Bangalore-based healthcare startup whose revolutionary, personalised wellness ecosystem proactively monitored various aspects of health in real time, combining healthcare expertise with technology to offer people a holistic solution for a healthier lifestyle.

The Challenge

To demonstrate the Mihtra mobile app’s speed and accuracy in providing users with important healthcare data, assessments and personalised tips that will help them keep track of their health.

The Goal

To create a diagnostic kiosk that carried out vital health tests and assessed the lifestyle and health risks of the individuals tested, followed by instant access (within 15 minutes) to their diagnostic reports through the Mihtra mobile app.

The process

We were tasked with end-to-end product development that included

  • User interaction scenarios
  • Technology road mapping
  • Scope definition
  • Working with software vendors and device manufacturers across the globe

How we did this

    It was all down to the team working on the project. They made it a point to:

  • Communicate accurately and clearly.
  • Use agile practices within a distributed Scrum framework.
  • Work closely with our client to crystallise product specifications.
  • Identify a comprehensive list of requirements
  • Chart out a clear roadmap with possible scenarios, risk assessments, clear milestones, and release plans.
  • Develop the application architecture for the kiosk, backend and the mobile app.
  • Create a highly efficient UI design for the kiosk, backend and mobile application.

    As part of the approach, the team:

  • Developed proof of concepts for each point-of-care device.
  • Conceptualised and developed a unified interoperable interface engine that connected POC devices running on multiple messaging protocols.
  • Integrated wearables and homecare BLE devices.
  • Developed the native iOS and Android application.
  • Built an OAuth supported backend system to store data-encrypted customer demographics, clinical and fitness metrics, and more.
  • Built a centralised system to monitor the health status of each device in real-time and perform remote diagnostics.
  • Defined standard SOPs in order to troubleshoot devices at the kiosk.
  • Ensured every kiosk had the ability to generate reports on revenues, successful tests, registrations, etc.
